River Trails Neighborhood Boundaries
The River Trails neighborhood boundaries extend from
Trinity Boulevard to Saranac Trail and from Salado Trail to Precinct Line Road including Ivy Way and Harvard Ave.
The school district that serves River Trails children is HEB ISD. They consist of Exemplary-rated River Trails Elementary School located in the heart of River Trails, Hurst Junior High on Harmon Rd. in Hurst, and L.D. Bell High School on Brown Trail & HWY 183 in Hurst.
River Trails Elementary school grounds are available to residents and neighborhood children during the summer and after school hours. It offers a variety of outdoor amenities such as a children's playground, full-size basketball courts, 2 baseball backstops, and gymnastic/ropes course equipment.
Additionally, River Trails offers a park complete with a pavilion, picnic tables, park benches, and a 1/4 mile walking trail. It is a trailhead for the Trinity Trails walking/biking path. River Trails Park is located on the Southwest side of the Neighborhood. This park became a reality for residents in 2005 as a result of hard work and dedication by members and executives of River Trails HOA.
